I have just arrived back from a beautiful and amazing weekend on stunning Hamilton Island, off the coast of Queensland in the Whitsundays. I was flown over to photograph the wedding of gorgeous Leah, a previous boudoir client, and the love of her life, Huon. The day was filled with laughter, fun, happiness, colour and excitement - all in the perfect surrounds of a tropical island!
I have so many favourites, I have decided to break up the blog posts into sections. Today, groom and bridal prep!

Pretty much at every wedding I get a request for a 'blue steel' photo. But these boys were very good - it was a constant theme for the day. I am quite surprised they didn't turn around during the ceremony! LOL Thanks guys for being fabulous fun :)

I am very excited to be offering some new products that I feel really reflect my style - beautiful, high quality, clean design - but with a twist!
I like offering products that are just a little bit different and the album below really reflects that. This is a 20×8 album and opens out in a flipbook fashion, allowing the entire page spread to be a 16×20 format! This album is included in my top collection.
These ‘flush mount’ albums are offered in all my main collections now. I do still offer the matted albums, but they too are designed in a modern, contemporary fashion. The quality of these flush albums is beyond anything I have seen before and I love the range of covers the album company offers: everything from this metallic finish, to acrylic, glass, duo tone leathers, edgy accent leathers as well as gorgeous silk canvas!
The cover has a metal finish.
The gorgeous accented spine is a raised leather. Told you I like things a bit different!
The first page - note the clean design aesthetic. I have a pet peeve against busy, overcrowded designs...
I love the format of this album - it allows for really creative design, including panoramic images.

I also have a few new albums available as brag books, parent albums and boudoir albums.
This is a 5x5" album that has been used as a wedding brag book. Small enough to pop into your handbag 
It has a divine silk brocade cover with thick white card pages. It can feature up to 40 of your favourite images!
These images are from Fran and Brett's wedding at Sandalford Winery in March.
These gorgeous albums are mainly used for boudoir or a mini brag book. They come in many different covers but the 'little black book' for boudoir always works well!
These books are high end 'magazine -style' photobooks. I offer them for guest books and boudoir albums. This one has 40 sides.
These books are identical to the little black ones shown earlier. This is an 8x8 version in a gorgeous bright red - again fabulous for boudoir images :)
I have two more sample albums to be delivered in the next few weeks and can’t wait to show you those!

When I met Colin and he told me he played table tennis competitively, I kinda went ‘Okayyyyyyyy….’ but then I went to see a match. OMG! I don’t think I have seen a faster game - it’s like tennis on amphetamines! How people can smash that tiny ball onto a small table from a mile away AND RETURN IT is beyond me. My hubby is pretty good - he played for England in his teens which I think is fairly impressive. How many people do you know that can say they played a sport for their country?
Anyhoo, one title that had eluded him was the WA State Championships - he always seemed to make it to the final but lose by only a few points. This year however, he did it! His name will be engraved on this winner’s plate. I was a very proud wifey

Yet another beautiful engagement session…I have some real favourites in this gallery and I can’t wait for the wedding in November. Thank you both for sharing a Sunday afternoon with me and my camera I just absolutely love shooting in Fremantle! The light, the backgrounds, the light…..lol
